I have a property line issue with my neighbor. They retained a attorney, The attorney send me a letter and wanting me to sign this letter by a certain date. I called the attorney and explained under the conditions of the letter I would not sign it.

I offered a settlement to this issue with the attorney and explained if they could meet the new adjustments this issue would be over. The attorney said "I will be in court most of this week and will contact the neighbor with your offer then call you back next week."

That has been 3 weeks ago... I contacted his office yesterday to ask why hasn't he called me back. Left voice mail for him to contact me at home or cell.

Is there any requirements for the attorney to contact me since I am handling this issue myself?

Thanks

No,just as there was no requirement for you to respond to his letter.
