I was arrested in Staten Island NY in 1991 and convicted of 2 counts of Class D Felony Robbery. I would like to have my rights restored and be able to vote again. I now live in the state of Florida however I was sentenced to 5 years probation which I served in North Carolina. How do I go about getting this relief and is there a possibility of removing my record from North Carolina records which is the only place it shows on background checks?
