I had just got a new job and was driving to it when I was stopped and got rear-ended by a kid. My license was suspended for not paying a traffic ticket and my insurance has lapsed because I havent had any money. I was going to my first day of work and was stopped waiting for the vehicle in front of me to make a left turn and I was rear - ended by a kid. He has insurance but I don't, so what do I do?

If it was his fault he will have to pay for the damage to your car. Your situation does not matter except to the police.

Okay thanks. We didn't do a police report - I just took his insurance information. So will we have to file a police report to get the insurance company to pay or will we be able to take care of the claim without the police?
