Is it illegal if you have a rental agreement with a landlord and someone else who is not the landlord or a tenant is telling you that he is going to evict you and give the house back to the landlord we never had contact with the landlord and we did pay rent through him because he knows the landlord but we have a rental agreement and the landlord knows we have been living here but if this other person is trying to say that he was renting it even if he has a rental agreement is it still illegal because we did not know about it and were under the impression we were dealing with just the landlord and that we were supposed to be the tenants? Since he isn't the landlord how would he get the paper work to evict us? And wouldn't he have to have a reasoning for eviciting us even if he got ahold of the landlord?

Someone "telling" you they are going to evict you means nothing. Only a court can grant an actual eviction. Have you received anything from the court regarding a notice that ANYONE has filed for an eviction against you?

Yes, a person can act on the owner/landlord's behalf and obtain an eviction.
As said above, the eviction actually comes from the court, not from comments/threats made by the involved parties.
