Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Question on accomplace to larceny.

My buddy and I went to a store. while I was away checking my credit and utilizing the latrine my buddy stole a video game without my knowing. I did not know the game was within his possession until we left the store. Once we made it back to our room we were confronted by MPs and taken to the MP station where they claim they have camera footage of my buddy personally removing the case and I witnessed him doing it. Because of this and the fact I knew he had the game after leaving the store I am now a suspect of not only accomplace to larcany but a suspect of larceny itself.

My questions pertaining to this are
1. Can I request to see the footage.
2. Can it benifit me to explain that I intended to contact someone after we got to the room.
3. What defences can I use when evidence is applied by a camera.

Yes but they do not have to comply without court order

You mention MPs so is this military court or civilian court?
