I got pulled over a couple weeks ago and the officer said that he pulled me over because it looked like I was going towards the lane to go right, but then I switched over to the lane going straight. Then he came up to the car and told me to get out. He then told me that that is what he pulled me over for and then proceeded to tell me to empty my pockets onto the hood of his cruiser. Then he searched me without asking me. He said, "I am going to search you." When we got to the police station and he was trying to get me to snitch on somebody, I made sure to ask him, "so what did you pull me over for again?"
He said, "for not having a front license plate."

Is this right? He didn't see that I didn't have a front license plate until AFTER he pulled me over. What should I do? Subpoena the tape recording from the pull over and the one from the interrogation room?

This is wrong.

You should definitely file a complaint, especially if you are non-caucasion.
