Property owned by deceased member not left to anyone

I have a deceased grandfather his house wasnt left to anybody my uncle told me im ok to move into it but the other is throwing a fit nobody is living there i want to know what i can do to get it in my name so i can move in as soon as possible can someone tell me the legal steps to do this

Not true. If he didn't leave it to anybody in a will then it's inherited under the laws of intestacy. If he had no spouse at the time of his death, his children inherit.

However, the property would have to be probated for ownership to be transferred to his children.

Until then it is owned by the estate.

You can buy it or rent it from your grandfather's estate or from whoever owns it now.

Somebody has to step up and get the estate properly probated or there is going to be big trouble along the way.

I suggest that you avoid moving in until the ownership is resolved.
