Bought a cabin in Idaho. Looked for property lines, hired a certified surveyor. He could not find a second point of refernce for property thus couldn't find my property corners. Previouse owners was the government. I wrote a letter they responded they are not responsable for it. Realestate personel stated it wasn't thier issue, title company said it wasn't thier issue. Sellers don't reply. There is no question I own x amount of property but where that property is cannot be determined. My surveyor said the survey the government did was illegal because there was no second point of reference. This property was on a 99 year government leese then traded to a college then sold to the previous owner. Who is responsable for legal property corners? Mike
