I purchased a piece of property back in 2008 in April 2010 I found out that a name from a previous owner had been added back onto the property. The wife had owned the property with her husband and had lost the property in a divorce and the husband later sold the property, the county says she had never filed a QUITCLAIM deed on the property. The property has since changed hands 3 other times and her name has never shown up on anything until now. I have been in contact with her but she seems to be releuctant to sign a new QUITCLAIM deed to remove her name from the title. Is there anything that can be done about this. When I bought the property it was vacant land I have since built a home on the property.
