My boyfriend was sentenced to 3 years suspended to 18 months long term rehab and 3 years probation. He walked out of 2 rehabs in May and didn't report to probation until a month ago. He was violated and is waiting to go to court that now. Since reporting though he has been arrested on another drug charge. Probation hasn't put a hold on him or anything and we are curious as to why that is or if they are going to even get him on a violation at the moment?

I've consulted my magic 8 ball and learned of the possibilities that probation may just be waiting for the outcome of his current trial before violating him and adding to his sentence. Or it could be something else.
