I logged on to my checking account today and I noticed there was 2 withdrawls from my account.. I called my bank and they told me that there was a levy against me from Pressler & Pressler. As soon as I heard there name I knew what it is, and it was a old bill from Verizon. I have called Verizon numerous times and explained to them that the account was opened fraudently using my name and social security #.. I called Pressler & Pressler and explained that to them and they said well the bill was paid for about a year, and then it suddenly stopped being paid. The person that used my name and social passed away last yr so Im stuck. I called my bank again and they told me that when it comes to a levy against you they are entitled to take 100% of the money that it owed to them... Im just frustrated because that is money was for the holidays
