i received an eviction notice for past due rent for being 6 days late, i was late on the previous month also but the landlord is only receiveing half the rent because they are being garnished for past due taxes by the state so we have to send a check to them i was served with the notice and have court thursday what do i do , do i need a lawyer, please advise!!!
