Pictures on flyers.

My parents have a landscaping business and has mistakenly used a couple pictures from some magazine of nicely landscaped yards as example on the flyers. Later found out that the pictures were from a landscaping company (small company). I dont think they have the pictures copyrighted. Can someone explain to me if they can sue?

A: If by "they" you mean the folks whose pictures you stole, the answer is yes. I don't know how the case would turn out.
