I am F1 here and I have just applied for OPT in U.S. I wanna apply for canadian greencard. But I have a petty theft conviction and the lawyer said that it will be expanged in two years. I want to apply for Canadian green card. I have satisfied points requirement, but they require police statement of clearance. How this will affect my status? Will there be hope for me to get Canadian green card? I know it might be difficult for me to get US green card, or even H1.
