Pet Treats v. Pet Supplements

I have a non compete agreement with my current employer. Our core business is housebreaking, cleaning, pet waste pick up products, and nutritional supplements. We will soon be selliing nutritional supplements in a soft chew format to compliment existing hard tablet supplements. All focus on specific health related issues such as hip and joint health and pet mobility. Can I accept a position with a pet product company whose primary business is traditional treats and food without violating my agreement? My potential new company does not make any products that compete with my current employer's core business of housebreaking, cleaning, or pet waste pick up products. Thank you.

Anytime there is a non compete, you will have to take it to an employment or contract attorney for review & advice.
