Parole, Probation parole violation questions

My husband was on parole and on an electronic monitor. He violated his parole by not being at home when he was supposed to be. His parole officer picked him up at work the next day and sent him back to DOC. His parole is over may 11, so what happens now. His PO said it was just a violation and he would go back to serve the remainder of parole in DOC and that he would get day for day good time. I was also told that he would see the parole board who could decide that since he had less than a month left to release him. I cannot accept phone calls, so I have no idea what is going on..... we live in Illinois.... any help or links would be appreciated... thanks.... cpbrooks
