So I was pulled over and was cited for statute 20-138.7 in NC. I do not have a record and would really like this to NOT be a part of it. Im hoping to be able to pay fines and move on. I cant really afford a lawyer and I read that if you plead guilty and pay the fines it could hurt you more than help. I am willing to accept my consequences bc it was a stupid mistake but Im not sure of the best avenue. Please help!
