i was cited an open container ticket while tailgating for a football game last weekend- which is fine, i did have the bottle of beer and am willing to pay because it is my fault but my question is- is there any way the misdemeanor charge can be waived? i have nothing on my record- have only be cited for speeding tickets- i dont want this misdemeanor charge to affect future employment or school acceptance. would it be best to go to the court date or just submit the plea and pay and go with having this charge on my record?? any advice would be great!!!
