Object shot at face

My direct manager at a very profitable company shot a spring loaded toy at my face, many people witnessed him doing it over the period of a few weeks, but not the final incident, it occurred on my last day at work, after I had put in my two weeks. The company takes security very seriously and has cameras that cover every bit of the floor, and he sent me messages regarding what happened on our chat system and that should have been recorded as well. I can most likely get people to testify on my behalf do I have a case? I really don't want to see these people again, what do I stand to gain?

If you have no injury you stand to gain nothing.
If it was not done with intent to injure you it is not likely even criminal.
If you do have injury you could seek compensation for that but would need medical evidence of the injury.
I'm guessing this has more to do with having been embarrassed or just angry that it happened, and if so the best you can do is just let it go.
