I am trying to find out the law in NY state with regard to how long a PAID judgment should stay on your credit report. Is it 5 or 7 years? Does anyone know where I might be able to look up the answer?

I believe that it is 7 years that items remain on your credit report. The fact that they are paid is good, but the fact that they are late does not change the fact that they are late.
