My husband was convicted of a premeditated murder 13 years ago. This murder was not premeditated and court transcripts show this pretty clearly. The two lawyers I have spoken with and who have looked at this agree, but aren't sure they can do anything so long after the fact. What can we do? Is this just a matter of finding enough money to pay a big-time lawyer? How will this appeal be received?
