OK, here is the situation. i took part in a stupid frat prank and stole around $5 dollars in merchandise from wal-mart. they arressted me, and i spent a couple of hours in jail. however, while in jail they let me post my own bail b/c i had not been arressted on this kind of charge b4. so what do i do? i cant go into pre-trial diversion b/c i have already used it when i was a sophmore in college for underage drinking charges. what are my options? i have a lawyer, but i want some peace of mind. what are some options in south carolina? i undrestand i should have to pay something, but i cannot afford to have this on my record. i have told my frat brothers to go to hell and have not associated with them since this happened in august. i really do know better, my mom raised me better, this is an embarrassment to me and my family. someone please help.
