Burglary, Arson, Home Invasion Need advice

Okay about 3 weeks ago, my house was broken into, I filed a police report, a Playstation 3 was stolen along with games, and a PSP. I do not have the serial numbers, and have received word about who broke in and stole it. I also was told who it was going to be sold to, and I want to know what legal action to take. Are there any other ways of identifying the PS3, showing police officers that it is mine?

Serial numbers are about the only way to do it unless you have other personal markings on it.
If you have new information then you should be sharing it with the agency that took the burglary report and letting them investigate.
