co-signed a car for my girlfriend. We have not received a bill of sale after asking the dealer for at least a copy his reply is i mailed it to you. The loan it turns out is for $9996 and the car is 6,995. We were told that the car was 3,995 so we also put $1,500 down never were we told otherwise that the car would be more. He also put the registration in my name as if i were primary and the loan company also contacted me as if i were primary. We asked several times during signing if she was primary and we were assured i was only a co-signer. 2 weeks have passed and still no paperwork other than the receipt for our $1,500 down given to us the day of signing. Spoke with dealer and he stated $3,995 was the cash price, and he used my credit to run it since hers wasn't as high. I asked if he would take the car back and cancel the loan he said if he did that we would lose our $1,500 dollars. Other than the obvious (pay closer attention next time).. Any advice would help
