Need advice re: harrasement and stalking

I have a former significant other who I lived with for two yrs sending me several (at least 6 e-mails) threatening to sue me over a credit card payment. He is a physician and just remarried. I also saw him at my former residence once by accidence 6 mos ago. I want to send him something by email worded the right way to tell him to stop all further e-mails and if I see him at my place of residency there will be a restraining order put in place. Not worried about physical safety, just do not like the e-mails and stalking.

As you describe it you are unlikely to be granted a restraining order.
If you owe him money simply pay him, otherwise he may eventually sue you over it.

I go for option C, encourage him to sue you so all your friends will know.
