I need some real advice fast on this one.
I have always hated my name. I have always felt that my given name was a weak one and I have recently felt that I no longer want to carry my father's name (Wood) anymore due to the dishonor of who he really is. I have also always been treated like an outsider.
I want to change all of my name (first, middle and last). I live in Waller county and the rest of my family lives in Harris. I don't want to have to deal with all the hell that they would raise if they think I shouldn't change my name. Is it necissary to notify them of the name change?
Is there anything they can do to contest it after it has been done?
I assume I would have to notify my bank and any subscribtions that I have. Is it necisarry to notify the DPS or is that already done when the court makes the judgement? Who else do I have to notify?
