My wife had a delinquent account in the amount of approximately $1500. In order to open that account my wife gave them the name of my LLC without my permission. She is not a member of my LLC and has no authority. After my wife recently passed away I received a phone call from an attorney who has filed suit in District Court for the delinquent balance. The lawsuit is in the name of my wife and my LLC. Since she wasn't listed on the LLC am I liable for this? What should I do since I just found out in public record that the suit was filed on August 28th?
