My husband co-signed on the car for his ex-girlfriend. He never got her to take on single ownership, she always claims she is not in financial position to do that. And now, 4 years later she is constantly late on payments and that affects our credit. We don't know where she lives, her phone is disconnected and we only can contact her through e-mail.
