This is my girlfriends question:
My ex fiance is treating to sue me for appliances I sold for $160 to my brother who helped me move. He is saying he can sue me because I did not give him 50 percent of the profit. In which my brother gave me cash for.
My boyfriend and i have since moved to an apartment. We are filing bankruptcy on the house because we could not sell the house. He has not lived in the house for over a year and was only paying a third of the mortgage because my new boyfriend moved in with me. I told him before I gave the appliances to my brother that I was selling them and he never said anything and now all of a sudden it's a problem because I received cash from someone instead of giving it away.
