On November 1st, 2008 I went into a verbal agreement with a young man on an automobile. (1995 Chevy Caprice Classic) Our agreement was that he pay me $800.00 now and another $700.00 at the end of November. In return i would hold the car for him, until the end of november in which it would be paid in full. In this alotted time i turned down several buyers, telling them the car was already sold. Now, on November 30th he called and wants his $800.00 back, which i no longer have. I was just wondering what my legal rights our. I have thought of telling him he has 2 more weeks to get the rest of my money or i will sell the car for the remainder he owes me. Did not know if this was legal or not? I really want him to keep his word and finish paying for the car. What can i do? Thank -You,
