Mr Alexander

Appealed

How can I appeal a child support order? I was recently involved in a support hearing in which my ex-wife was represented by a high dollar Attorney and I was not. During the course of the hearing I was able to establish that she had falsified her income and that I had hardships that needed to be addressed. In the judges final ruling he inputted her income added my hardships but miscalculated my income multiplying my bi-weekly workers comp as weekly. This left me with a higher support amount than if he had just ran baseline figures. I have 50/50 custody and with the current support order I will not be able to even pay my bills. What or how can I proceed? Can I even appeal as not to get stuck with arrears?

It isn't so much an appeal, rather a petition to seek modification. The clerk's at the court should be able to point you in the right direction.
