A business associate failed to comply with state contractor law resulting in a criminal action executed by Pinellas county State Attorney vs Anonymous Defendant.
A now retired caregiver for his ailing spouse in 2012 was the sole proprietor of a firm representing waterproof mobile home roofing.
Tropical Storm Debby had damaged one such installation that caused the then owner to file a complaint with consumer affairs. The business associate was to arrange for job permitting & state registration but failed to do so. He was charged with a class 3 felony and a workers comp violation. The court withheld adjudication after I provided restitution, no probation. I am seeking damages vs the former business associate.
