What is the likelihood that a motion to sever a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card from charges of burglary will be upheld, if the credit card allegedly used was reported stolen from a home not included in the burglary charges?
Are there any monumental cases which will allow severance or that should be cited?

My bf's conflict attorney withdrew all of a sudden without citing reasons in his motion to withdraw and these cases have been ongoing for more than a year. Unfortunately he is opting to represent himself, a feat I cannot seem to convince him not to do so rather I am offering support.

Thank you for any help proffered.
