In Florida, a motion for default judgement was entered on 10/5/2009.
10/5/2009 PL 1 1 MTN FOR DEFAULT JDMT FINAL OF FORECLOSURE AND FOR AWARD OF ATTY FEES AND COSTS
Do they have a hearing and do they have to send a notice of hearing OR is this something that the judge looks at, grants and sets a sale date? Just wondering how long I have. Thanks

Default judgments do not require hearings. If you are wondering how long you have in the house it depends. They have to schedule a sale date and after the sale date they have to evict you. That can take another month or more. You will get warning. They will not just show up one day to throw you out. Stop avoiding them. Call them and talk to them, if you are lucky they will pay you to move.
