My mortgage company keeps making mistakes. I own two connected parcels. The first time my taxes were due they would not pay them because they had it down that I was in the middle of subdividing. I do not know where that came from. I payed them myself and was reimbursed from my escrow. The second time my taxes were due they no longer had both parcels down and would only pay the taxes for the property that did not have the house on it. By the time they got it fixed there was a 10% penalty on my taxes which they reimbursed me for. Now I believe they have it straightened out but my mortgage is going up 400 dollars which is a little over 300 dollars above their estimate of my payment at closing. The increase is entirely due to this tax problem and putting more into my escrow. I have never been late on a payment. I do not think I am eligible for loan modification through the government because I have a cosigner. Do I have any options?

You can pay the taxes yourself, not have them paid out if escrow.

You can refinance the loan with another lender.
