Please help me. My apartment has mold and other damages that I have not caused. I have told them for months to fix the issues and always get an ok and that they are short handed on maintenance workers. I have two kids and my girlfriend is pregnant. I have no money to move right now and lease is up this month. What can I do?

Your lease expires at the end of this month, which coincidentally is the end of the year.
Have you given your notice to vacate?
If not, you can provide the proper notice to vacate next month.

Otherwise, not much is going to be done, if anything is ever done.
You can contact your county and city health authorities.
You can contact your county and city building officials.
Lodge your complaint, see what the bureaucrats can do to help.
Otherwise, if you fear for the health of living, healthy, human beings, vacate in accordance with your lease, ASAP.

Mold can be deadly, however, the rules and laws that protect people are slow in their application.

Self help will be much quicker, as regards your predicament.
