I was shown a "model" apartment at a complex in my area. The model was in very good condition. Walls were clean, carpet was nice, and bathroom looked nice. I expected certain things to be different that would occur from normal use, such as marks on the baseboard, spots on the carpet, etc. (which there are in the actual rental apartment). However, the most disturbing difference is the 1970s hideous yellow colored bathtub and toilet. The model apartment showed a bright white bathtub and toilet. I feel like I was scammed here because I was making all the arrangements to move, ordering furniture, etc., only to find out today that the bathroom looks disgusting and nothing like the model apartment. I never signed any disclosure or was told that actual apartments may vary greatly from the model apartment. Do I have any legal rights to have a professional come in and modify this bathroom and take it out of my rent payments? I haven't signed the lease yet, but they did take a "hold deposit"...

Thanks in advance.
