I am charged (not convicted) with Misdemeanor in Virginia for croosing the 80 mph speed barrier in a 55 mph zone.
We are trying our best to get a reduced sentence / charge. At the Plea bargain phase, the prosecutor may convict me and sentence me to a few days in Jail. I had a license, I did not get into any accident situation nor was intoxicated or carrying drugs, etc.
Im working with a Top Consulting Company in North America and my employers are planning to file my green card in November. If at all, I may get be convicted for Misdemeanor, how will that effect my Green Card ?
Im concerned and would look appreciate replies.
