Miscalculated overtime rate

If an employer had been miscalculating the overtime rate of pay for the last 14 years, and have now become aware of it, do they have to go back the full 14 years to calculate lost wages to be back paid, or is there a legal option that would allow them to only go back 2 years from when the error was discovered? This happened in Washington state.
