misameaner or criminal

I was just wondering..... after traffic tickets were issued after a car accident and the tickets were not paid and a warrant for your arrest was issued because it was not paid, is it now considered criminal or still just a misameaner? does anyone know

A misdemeanor is criminal and so is a warrant. Your drivers license has probably been suspended so if you are stopped you will get a free taxi ride to the local jail.

You need to pay the fines immediately and then visit the DMV and have your license reinstated. Ignoring a traffic ticket is one of the most stupid things you can do. If you can't appear then you request a continuance. If you can't pay the judge will usually work out a plan or community service. A not guilty plea will normally result in a three to six month delay giving you time to raise the funds.

However it seems that some people just like potato salad and beans.
