I received an MIP citation at the Evergreen State College the other night in one of the dorms. The officer knocked on the door, and when the resident opened it up, he allegedly saw me holding a beer down the hall of the dimly lit apartment. He requested my presence at the door, and I presented myself, with a mug rootbeer in my hand. I repeatedly denied having had anything to drink. He arrested me and issued a citation, at which point he asked me if I was willing to take a breathilizer test. I refused, and he sent me on my way. I have 5 witnesses who are willing to testify to the fact that I was not drinking beer that night, and at no point had I been in possession of a beer. Several questions:
-Will I be able to have witnesses testify in my defense?
-Will this even make a difference?
-Do I have a case at all?
