My daughter received a ticket on Saturday night. She was sleeping in a car with a friend. The officer woke them with a flash light, gave them a bac test and wrote them both tickets. My daughter purse was not with her and so she had to drivers license since she wasn't going to be driving. The officer took her verbal info. for the ticket and never told her what the bac was and didn't put it on the citation. Both had 3-4 beers over 3 hours or so and are 18 years old. Is this sound right. What are the consequences for her?

it depends on where this happened, usually MIP is a violation and will lead to a fine
