I just got an MIP for holding an opened beer, but I was not breathalized, nor was I drunk or appeared to be drunk. What are my options? If I plead not quilty, will I have to hire a lawyer and argue my case? Or will my charges just be reduced?
You can see what type of deal the prosecutor would offer. I wouldn't be surprised if the answer is "none". A local lawyer can advise you of practices for your county.
