Medical debt and hipaa

Hello I recieved a letter that the collection agency is going to court in a certain date to get a judgement against me for an unpaid debt . They did provide me with the bills I asked for so I could confirm the amount but refused to allow me a payment plan I know the amount is on me I am very nervous about this and what will happen never had anything like this but also . In the packet they sent me and the court they attached detailed bills with all the blood work and thinks such as "Iv push Med" or " vaginal ultrasound" and pregnancy test they have all this information on the papers I did. It think they could release anything but the amount due and my contact information ? Any input on this ? Thank you

I am not sure what your question is. If it is can the bill state what the charge is for, the answer is that is can. In fact, it should. It is not a HIPAA violation to enter those bills into evidence in court to collect a debt.
