My boyfriend was picked up where we live in CT on a warrant as a fugitive from justice in Mass. The crime happened in 1997, but they didn't issue warrant until 2008, isn't there a 10 year statute of limitations in Mass? The crime was assault with a deadly weapon. Doesn't this arrest violate that statute? He is currently being held for extradition in Ct. jail, and I don't know what to do to help him.
