I'm trying to open a corp to manage an LP to invest in stocks.

I've been instructed in opening a C Corp and then having the C Corp open an LP. The C corp is going to manage the LP and all of the expenses.

I've been told not to get an S Corp or LLC, to get a C Corp. and that's just to manage the LP and possible other future identities.

What are the possible unknown issues following this guideline.

You really need to consult a CPA or a tax attorney.
Seeking FREE TAX ADVICE is very risky for YOU.
If you do as anonymous strangers suggest, you have no recourse if the taxing authorities take issue with your choices.
If you can't afford to hire a CPA or tax attorney to advise you, maybe you don't want to pursue your idea until you can afford professional tax advice?
