I have started a small business, however have only just recently began wondering if my business is technically legal. I am a minor, only 15 and am wondering about licensing obligations, and if those apply to me. I have 6 payed employees, all friends of mine. The company has a website and we design and sell t-shirts from teespring.com. Since like I mentioned, i'm a minor, I am wondering if I need to obtain an employers permit, sales and distribution license, and if I need to sign for income taxation. Any help is much appriciated, and thank you in advance!

As a minor, there are many things you just can't do.
For example, contracts can't be entered into by minors.
Minors can only purchase necessaries, food, water, etc...

Is what you're doing illegal?
The answer is more like what you're doing is gray, not black and white.

A minor can have a paper route, cut grass, shovel snow, sell lemonade on the front lawn of grandmother's mansion, wash cars, wash windows, walk dogs, babysit, etc...

I suggest you ask this and all questions of your parents.
Any rights you might possess flow through your guardians or parents to you.
If your business is making money, you betcha taxes are owed.
You can't owe them. You're a legal incompetent.
The burden would fall on mother and father.
Talk to your parents, ASAP.
