liability when parked in the street?

I recently remodeled my home and 3 months after it was finished a lady claims i damaged her car. She claims when the house was painted, the paint sprayed all over her car. She was parked on a public street and she works a block away. Does she have any crediable claims against me?

It depends. If you have done the painting yourself and she can prove that paint has spattered on her car, then she has a claim against you.

If a contractor has done the painting, she might have the case against the contractor, but might also have a case against you. Courts sometimes hold a landowner liable for damage caused by a contractor working on the land. It depends on the details of the case.
