I had a CPS case that lasted for 4 years and resulted in my child being adopted in 2016 how do I go about getting copies of all those records?

Perhaps try the agency or court that filed the adoption. Pretty sure no one was "legally kidnapped." Sounds like your rights were terminated somehow.

If you weren't a party to the "adoption", you probably won't get access to the adoption records for obvious reasons, one of which, it was no longer your child.

You might get some of the records in which you were involved with the CPS investigation.
You could start by contacting CPS.

I don't see any of the records with CPS being of any value to you at this point, even if you somehow get something you weren't already given.
