I live in a Housing Co-operative, where the Minutes of all of our Meetings are open to the public, and minuted by the Secretary.
A complaint has been made against me, and I was invited to argue my case at a Committee Meeting.
I understand that I am entitled to record conversations without informing anybody, but that to use that recording for other than my own personal use is a possible minefield. Is there an expectation of privacy from the people present at the meeting, given all the above facts? Since the Meeting is being minuted, and those minutes are public, can I then use my verbatim record to dispute procedure and what was said at the meeting?
